Tako Truck and Two Beers Team up to Raise Money for Haiti

When: Saturday, March 6 2010 from 1:00 pm until

Where: 4700 Ohio Avenue South Unit A Seattle, WA

The Olympics may be in the news now, but the Haitians are still in need of our help. This is why Two Beers Brewing Co. and Tako Truk are teaming up for a benefit event on March 6th from 1-6 p.m.  If you aren’t familiar with Tako Truk check them out, here, here, and here.  It was started by the Chef at the now defunct Sitka and Spruce in Eastlake and gained quite a cult following this summer with tacos like their world famous Octopus Taco, Pork Belly, or the Vegetarian Taco.

There will be live music, a live DJ spinning, Bad Beer Toss, Amazing Beer, and tacos for everyone to enjoy.

Minimum Donation is $20 and you will receive 4 tickets.  A ticket will get you a beer, 2 tacos, or 3 tosses in bad beer toss. (your choice how you use your four tickets)

All proceeds from the event go toward purchasing Shelter Boxes so that Haitians in distress can have clean water and shelter over their heads.  Each shelter box houses up to 10 people and we are hoping to raise enough money to buy 10 shelter boxes.

So please do come out, drink some good beer, toss some bad beer, and have a couple fresh made tacos.  Is there any better way to spend the first Saturday in March?  Tako Truk and Two Beers think not.
